To grow your revenue and increase your sales, you need to always engage your customers and give them an incentive to make purchases. Be creative with the incentives and make sure that whatever you set up your customers will trigger them to complete an action.

What is Growth in Sales, and how to do that?

Changing a one-time customer into a repeat customer is one way to achieve sales growth. Customers who already admire your brand is more likly to be loyal and open to make more orders than the ones who had a bad experience.

With a little push and few challenges, growth can happen. Game has created the following templates to challenges and trigger your customers with.

Here are the challenge templates you can use:

  • Buy a specific product

  • Buy from a specific collection

  • Exceed your highest order value

  • Buy X get Y on your next order

  • Buy from 3 different collections

  • Buy 3 items from specific collection

  • Get 20% coupon after spending a total of 1000$

  • Buy over 50$ and get 5$ on the next order

  • Free shipping for orders over 500$

How can I use templates under grow through Gameball dashboard?

You can access the challenges section of your Gameplan experience in the Gameball dashboard through Ways to Earn > Add ways to earn

When you click Add ways to earn, you will be taken to the Challenges Cataloge page, where you can create any type of challenges using the existing templates.

If, however, you can not find the type of challenge from the challenge cataloged, you can always customize your own challenge according to your preference.

Under Grow, choose one of these nine templates:

What are the details of each challenge template?

A. Buy a specific product

Details: although Gameball set the challenge name and description, you can always edit and change the challenge details.

❗️❗️Important Note: edit the title and replace "X" in the description with the actual name of the product you're going to choose.

Trigger: the customer will win this challenge's reward if they buy from a prechosen product.

❗️❗️Important Note: choose "product" next to "Where" and replace "X" with an actual product.

Reward: as with all the challenge templates, you need to set your challenge reward yourself before deploying the challenge.

Eligble customer: add player tags or segments if needed.

Advanced Settings: set to always active, always visible, limited to 1 time, and follows your global (default) notification settings.


B. Buy from a specific collection

Details: although Gameball set the challenge name and description, you can always edit and change the challenge details.

Trigger: the customer will win this challenge's reward if they buy from a pre-chosen collection.

C. Exceed your highest order value

Details: although Gameball set the challenge name, description and icon, you can always edit and change the challenge details.

Trigger: the customer will win this challenge's reward if they placed an order of value greater than any order they have previously placed.

Reward: as with all the challenge templates, you need to set your challenge reward yourself before deploying the challenge.

D. Buy X get Y on your next order

Details: although Gameball set the challenge name and description, you can always edit and change the challenge details.

Trigger: the customer will win this challenge's reward if they buy from a pre-chosen product.

E. Buy from 3 different collections

Details: although Gameball set the challenge name and description, you can always edit and change the challenge details.

Trigger: the customer will win this challenge's reward if they placed an order with 3 items or more, where at least 3 items belong to 3 different categories.

Reward: as with all the challenge templates, you need to set your challenge reward yourself before deploying the challenge.

F. Buy 3 items from specific collection

Details: although Gameball set the challenge name and description, you can always edit and change the challenge details.

Trigger: the customer will win this challenge's reward if they buy 3 items from a pre-chosen collection.

G. Get 20% coupon after spending a total of 1000$

Details: although Gameball set the challenge name and description, you can always edit and change the challenge details.

Trigger: the customer will win this challenge's reward if they buy from a pre-chosen collection.

❗️❗️Important Note: you can change the spending cap from 1000 to any other value.

Reward: reward is set to 20% discount coupon; however, you can always change the type and value of the the reward by following the instructions at the end of the article.

H. Buy over 50$ and get 5$ on the next order

Details: although Gameball set the challenge name and description, you can always edit and change the challenge details.

Trigger: the customer will win this challenge's reward if they placed an order of value that exceeds $50.

❗️❗️Important Note: you can change the minimum spending of the order from 50 to any other value.

Reward: reward is set to 5 USD fixed discount coupon; however, you can always change the type and value of the the reward by following the instructions at the end of the article.

I. Free shipping for orders over 500$

Details: although Gameball set the challenge name and description, you can always edit and change the challenge details.

Trigger: the customer will win this challenge's reward if they placed an order of value that exceeds $500.

❗️❗️Important Note: you can change the minimum spending of the order from 500 to any other value.

Reward: reward is set to free shipping coupon; however, you can always change the type and value of the the reward by following the instructions at the end of the article.

How can I set a reward for the challenge?

Define the type and value of your player's reward if they achieved the challenge. Click Add Reward.

You will go to the player reward configuration page.

  • In order to choose the type of reward you want to give to players, use the drop down list under Reward Type.

  • Under Reward Type, choose one of the following reward types:

    • Points

    • Free Product

    • Free Shipping

    • Fixed Amount

    • Percentage Based Discount

  • After choosing the reward type, write down the value of the player's reward under Reward Value.

The following is a list of information you will need to fill when choosing each of the reward types:

  • Product name: type down the name of the free product that will be given to the player. this name will be seen by players.

  • Reward Value: type down the value of the reward you want to grant to players.

  • Reward Expiry (optional): decide if you want to put an expiry date so that players redeem the reward before that day.

  • Minimum Order Value Required (optional): decide if the player should Redeem this (already won reward) only if the order value they want to redeem it with exceed a certain amount.

    For example: this reward will be redeem with an order that exceeds 50 USD.

  • Maximum Reward Usage: decide how many times this reward could be used (redeemed). By default, Gameball allows the players to redeem a gift only one time. However, you can let the reward be redeemable multiple times.

  • Coupon Combination: allow the reward to be redeemed along with other types of coupons. By default, Gameball does not allow the redemption of multiple coupons at once.

  • Applies to: applicable only for the fixed amount coupon and the percentage-based discount. Choose if the coupon can be applied on specific collections only.

  • After being done with creating the players' reward, click Save.
