What's New?

General

MCC consumption email alerts for SelfServe & Enterprise

As part of our effort to keep you informed about their usage and be proactive in notifying you about potential extra charges, we have introduced MCC consumption alerts. You will now receive notifications when they reach 80% and 100% of their maximum capacity for the MCC (Monthly Contacted Consumption). This enhancement enables us to communicate with you in advance, ensuring you stay informed and engaged during their usage.

Data & Analytics

Update Billed Players Definition In Analytics Reports

In this release, we have made improvements to the tooltip descriptions specifically for the metric "Billed Customers" in the Analytics Revenue Report. The separation of tooltip descriptions is implemented to accommodate the distinct definitions for Shopify and self-serve instances. For Shopify, there is a metric adjustment where the count is now based on active users instead of billed players. This change aligns with the forthcoming Shopify pricing update, ensuring accurate and relevant metrics for a more precise understanding of the data.

You can effortlessly create custom flows through Shopify Flows, incorporating the following Gameball actions:

  • Send Gameball as an event

  • Add points

  • Deduct points

  • Adjust player’s level

  • Manually reward challenges

Referred Players API for Retrieving Player Information

We have introduced a new API endpoint that allows you to retrieve comprehensive information about all the referred players in your system.

The newly created GET API enables you to fetch detailed information about each referred player, including their Name, Email, ID, Status, Join Date, and Mobile Number. Additionally, the API provides valuable data on the referrer, showcasing the same attributes such as the referrer's Name, Email, ID, and Mobile Number.

By leveraging this API, you can effortlessly access and utilize the information of referred players and their respective referrers. This data can be used for various purposes, including analysis, reporting, personalized communication, or any other actions that can help optimize your referral program and enhance user engagement.

Other Improvements

Mass add/deduct points Warning Before Confirmation

Addressing your concerns about points update clarity, this release introduces a "Points Reward Confirmation" popup.

You will now receive a warning popup with specific details before the final confirmation popup, reducing the risk of errors during points addition or deduction. The warning popup mirrors the UI of the last step in the workflow, featuring a statement and a "Confirm" button for a seamless experience.

New Warning on Uploading 10+ MB CSV Files

In response to customer feedback, this release addresses an issue where you were encountering difficulties while uploading CSV files exceeding 10MB in size.

Previously, you were not adequately warned, leading to file failures without clear error messages. Now, with this enhancement, you will receive a specific error message when attempting to upload a file larger than 10MB.
