Launch and Configure Your Redeem Pointing System

Learn how to set ways for your customer to redeem the points that they have earned with your program.

Offering customers multiple ways to redeem their points is crucial for enhancing gamification and their loyalty to your brand. With Gameball's versatile redemption system, you can create a seamless and rewarding experience for your customers. By setting up various redemption options, you empower your customers to choose how they want to utilize their points.

In this article, we'll walk you through configuring the points redemption system and customizing redemption options to cater to your customers' diverse preferences and needs.

Launching Redeem Loyalty Points:

To start setting your redemption rule, all you have to do is:

  • Login to your Gameball Dashboard

  • From the Left side menu click on Loyalty Points

  • Choose Redeem, and you will be directed to the Redeem Pointing System configuration page

  1. Activating the Point-to-Cash Redemption:

    Establish the default monetary value for points. Your customers can convert the points that they have in their balance to cash. Follow these steps to set it up

    • Click on Edit in the Point-to-Cash Redemption section.

    • Enter the equivalent monetary value of one point based on your chosen currency.

    • Click Save.

    • Locate the activation toggle at the upper right section of the Point-to-Cash Redemption section and ensure it is set to Active.

      Note: The toggle will always be active unless another redemption rule is added.

  2. Customizing Redemption Options

    Gameball offers additional customization options for redemption values. The customer can redeem their points to get one of the following Reward Types:

    • Online Only Rewards:

      • Flat Rate Discount: Apply a flat rate discount based on the equivalent value of points.

      • Percentage Discount: Exchange points for a fixed percentage discount coupon.

      • Fixed Amount: Offer a fixed discount in exchange for points.

      • Free Shipping: Convert points to a free shipping coupon.

      • Free Product: Redeem points for specific products.

    • POS Rewards

      • POS Fixed Amount Coupon (Shopify): Exchange points for in-store discounts.

      • POS Percentage Coupon (Shopify): Offer percentage discounts for in-store purchases.

    To add a new way to redeem all you have to do is:

    • Points Holding Duration:

      Set the duration that holds the request until your player completes the customer process on your mobile app using any other payment method in case it will be a partial payment using points. All you have to do is:

      • Choose the Holding Duration Value

      • Select the Points Holding Time(Days, Months, Years)

  4. Insights and Analytics:

    Understand the effectiveness of your points redemption strategy, and gain valuable insights into your Redeem Points System performance with comprehensive analytics:

    Total Redemptions:

    This metric gives you an overview of the total number of redemptions made by your customers across all redemption options. Tracking this metric allows you to assess the popularity and effectiveness of different redemption methods and tailor your offerings accordingly.

    Total Redeemed Points:

    Keeping track of the total number of points redeemed by your customers provides insights into the overall engagement and satisfaction levels. By monitoring this metric over time, you can gauge the impact of your reward programs and make data-driven decisions to optimize customer retention and loyalty.
