Encouraging your customers to refer your business to friends and family is a powerful marketing strategy. With Gameball's referral program, you can create a seamless and rewarding experience for your customers while expanding your customer base.
Activating Gameball's Referral Program:
Log in to your Gameball Dashboard.
Navigate to the Referrals section on the left side menu, and you will be directed to the Referrals setup page.
To launch the Gameball referral program on your platform, simply toggle the activation switch on the referral page.
But first, let's start the configurations.
Configuration of the Referral Program:
Step 1: Referral Reward
With Gameball's referral, you can choose to reward the following:
Both the Customers & their Friends
Only the Customers
To set up the reward, you need to follow these steps:
Click on Edit in the Referral Reward section
Choose the Friend's Action that deems the Referral Successful, you can choose from the following:
Friend makes their first purchase only without account creation
This requires the Friend to create an account to claim the referral coupon, along with completing an action that you choose:
Completing First Purchase
Choose a certain event that you have configured
Setup the Rewards
Choose the Customer Reward
Click on change
In the Rewards section, press Change and choose the type of reward that you want the player to have. Learn more about Rewards Types.
[Optional] Give the player an extra reward (a bonus on top of the regular reward) for every X friend referred. Let's say you want to reward your customers with 100 extra points for every 5 referrals that they complete successfully.
Choose the Friend Reward
Click on change
In the Rewards section, press Change and choose the type of reward that you want the player to have. Learn more about Rewards Types.
Choose the Notification Style that you want.
Step 2: Settings
Referral Landing Page
Send the referred friends to the URL you choose:
Enter the URL that you want the friend to be directed to[By Default, they are redirected to your home page].
Press Save.
Referral Content:
You can change the content of your referral module on the widget to match your brand's tone. All you have to do is:
Press on the redirection link in the Referral Content section
[Or] From the left side menu, Go to the Widget Display, choose Content, then navigate to the Referral tab
Multi-Step Rewards:
Multi-Step Rewards allows you to reward both your customers and their friends at each step of your referral program, empowering you to motivate your customers to refer their friends to your website like never before.
Let's say for example you want to reward a customer when his friend creates an account, and once more when they complete an order.
You can also create more than two steps, all you have to do is:
Click on Add New Step
Set up the Friends action on this step
Choose the Rewards for both the Customer & Friend.
