Reward customers with points based on any order attribute, enabling highly personalized earning strategies.
Introduction
Gameball allows you to create point-earning rules based on any order attribute. This flexibility lets you tailor your rewards to your business needs, encourage specific behaviors, and maximize customer engagement.
You can define rules based on attributes such as order price, payment method, product category, or any metadata associated with the order.
Prerequisites
Active point-earning system in your account.
Ensure that the order attributes you want to use are available in your platform or sent through metadata in your orders.
Step-by-Step Instructions

Select Configure New Custom Rules
Define Order Conditions
Specify the conditions that will trigger point rewards. Let's say we're trying to set a different set of points for orders from the books collection in a specific branch.
Examples of conditions include:Order Price: Orders above 500 USD.
Product Collection: Items in “Summer Collection” or “Electronics.”
Payment Method: Reward bonus points for orders paid with credit card or a specific gateway.
Assign Points
Define how many points customers earn for each condition.
You typically have three ways to set points for an order.
Cashback Value – A percentage-based reward of the order total. Customers earn points as a percentage of their purchase.
Cashback Value Based on Unit – Points are calculated per unit of currency spent (e.g., 2 points for every 1 EGP spent). This scales points with the order value.
Fixed Cashback Value – A fixed number of points is awarded for the order, regardless of its value.

Examples
Reward 10 points for every order over $50.
Reward 5 points for products in the “Electronics” collection and 2 points for products in the “Accessories” collection.
Reward bonus points for orders paid via PayPal or Apple Pay.
Combine multiple conditions, for example: reward points only for orders above $100 in the “Summer Collection” paid with a credit card.
Benefits
Highly Targeted Rewards: Customize points based on any order attribute to drive specific customer behaviors.
Encourage Higher Spending: Use price-based rules to reward larger purchases.
Promote Specific Products or Collections: Incentivize customers to buy certain items or collections.
Flexible and Scalable: Combine multiple conditions to create advanced earning strategies without needing separate rules for each scenario.
Important Notes
Rules are applied only when all specified conditions are met.
If multiple rules apply to a single order, points are calculated according to the priority or stacking rules you configure.
Common Questions
Can I reward points for multiple conditions at the same time?
Yes. You can combine price, collection, and payment method in a single rule.
Do I need separate rules for different collections or merchants?
No. You can define all earning rules in a single rule with multiple conditions.
