You might face situations where you will need to manually add points as a form of compensation for example, or you will need to deduct points that were earned by mistake. You can choose to manually add or remove these points to one player, or all your players at the same time.

Adding and deducting points from all players

Follow these steps to manually add or remove points from all players. on Gameball Admin Dashboard, go to Players Tab, do not select ant player, and go straight to Points Transaction tab, then click Add/Deduct Points.

Follow these steps to complete the add or deduction process through Gameball internal system:

  • choose between Add points to Deduct points

  • Add the amount of points you want to add/deduct

  • if you are adding points, choose the expiry date of the added points

  • State the Reason why these points were added or deducted

  • If you are deducting points, type confirm

  • Click save

Follow these steps to complete the add or deduction process through a CSV file:

  • Choose CSV tab

  • Download our sample CSV template for reference

  • Fill in the necessary information like player ID, email, bonus points, reason

Note: Player bonus points can include positive or negative values depending on whether you are adding or deducting points.

  • Upload the CSV file back to Gameball

  • Click Save

Important notes:

  • A player's ID is mandatory and it must be unique per player.

  • Player ID must be the same ID used in the player web integration snippet and mobile integration player initialization.

Adding and deducting points from one player

Follow these steps to manually add or remove points from only one player. on Gameball Admin Dashboard, go to Players Tab, Search for and choose the player you want to adjust their points. Go to the Points Transaction tab, then click Add/Deduct Points.

Follow the same steps as adding or deducting points internally through Gameball for all players.
