When a customer meets the requirements needed to join a higher tier, it is important to inform them that they are now on that new level so they can check the benefits they can now enjoy and engage more. Follow the steps below to activate real-time notifications for tiering up.
How to Create Real-Time Notifications for When a New Tier is Reached
You can access the notifications' global settings in the Gameball Admin Dashboard.
From the left bar, Click Notifications.
Choose between In-App, Emails, & SMS.
Scroll to Tiers, and select between Tier Achieved.
Start writing the message itself. Construct a heading and a body for the notification. In case you are creating an email notification, write a clear subject line and body. Learn how to Write an email notification.
Script Updates for Tiers Notifications
You can add the notification script for all notifications through this page:
Achieved Tier
Send a real-time notification to your customers upon leveling up to a higher tier. Let them know the name of the new tier they are on, the tier entry reward if there is any, and ask them to check the new tier's benefits.
Script Variables for Add/Deduct Points Notifications
To send more personalized, more relevant, and clear notifications, add variables in between your messages by clicking the + icon.
You can use variables in the scripts like the ones below:
Customer Variables: First Name, Display Name, Customer's Email, Referral Link, Mobile Referral Link, Tier-up Progress, Points, Points Before, Tier Up total progress, Total Friends Referred.
Tier Variables: Equivalent value of total points, Equivalent value of earned points, Currency, Points Name, Achieved tier, Previous Tier, Next Tier, Tier rewarded points, Referral Link, Mobile Referral Link, Tier Entry Reward, Tier Lifetime Reward.
Status Update for Add/Deduct Points Notifications
You can enable or disable the notification through the Active Toggle.
