Six Events You Can Create for Your E-Commerce Website

A quick guide on what player events and key operators your platform can send to Gameball.

Are you thinking of the most convenient player events to be tracked by Gameball on your e-commerce website? Below are some examples of events that can be useful in creating an action-based loyalty program with Gameball.

❗️❗️Important Notes: 

  • The below keys are suggestions. You can use some of them to create your player events or add an unlisted key based on your platform.

  • Do not send unnecessary events for more performance optimization.

Here are six examples of events and their keys:

1- Place Order

Description

This event should be sent when your player checks out and places an order on your platform.

Keys

  • Total Price: Total order price

  • Category: Product category (fashion, electronics, etc.) It can be one category or multiple categories.

  • Weight: Order weight

  • Brand: Product brand inside this order (Zara, Nike, etc.). It can be on brand or multiple brands to be sent at the same time

  • Discounted: Was this order discounted or not

2- View Cart

Description

This event should be sent when your player views their cart.

Keys

  • Total Price: Total cart price

  • Count: Number of products inside your cart

3- View Product

Description

This event should be sent when your player views a product page on your platform.

Keys

  • Price: Product price

  • Category: Product category (fashion, electronics, etc.)

  • Weight: Product weight

  • Brand: Product brand (Zara, Nike, etc.)

  • Discounted: A discount applied to this product or not

  • Stock: Current stock of this product

  • Tag: In case you have product tags

4- Review

Description

This event should be sent when your player writes a review on a product.

Keys

  • Price: Product price

  • Category: Product category (fashion, electronics, etc.)

  • Weight: Product weight

  • Brand: Product brand (Zara, Nike, etc.)

  • Discounted: A discount applied to this product or not

  • Stock: Current stock of this product

  • Tag: In case you have product tags

5- Add to Cart

Description

This event should be sent when your player adds a product to the cart.

Keys

  • Price: Product price

  • Category: Product category (fashion, electronics.. etc)

  • Weight: Product weight

  • Brand: Product brand (Zara, Nike.. etc.)

  • Discounted: A discount applied to this product or not

  • Stock: Current stock of this product

  • Tag: In case you have product tags

6- Remove from Cart

Description

When your player removes a product from the cart, this event should be sent.

Keys

  • Price: Product price

  • Category: Product category (fashion, electronics, etc)

  • Weight: Product weight

  • Brand: Product brand (Zara, Nike, etc.)

  • Discounted: A discount applied to this product or not

  • Stock: Current stock of this product

  • Tag: In case you have product tags
